Layouts
Curious about what Sycophant has looked like in the past? Or do you want to know the story behind a particular layout? Then you've come to the right place!

Layout 1: This layout was up forever! And it had the added effect of seemingly longer since the site was down for six months and it came back with the same thing . I kind of liked it though, so I didn't have an urgent need to replace it. The purple fit Kuja well, it was readable, and the image I used isn't one that's usually in layouts!

Layout 2: At first I didn't like this layout, but it grew on me. It's a bit more plain that I usually make things, but I think it has some class. I like how you can barely make out any details on Kuja, and I like the navigation. Overall, it has a bit of a creepy feel (with the font and all), and I like that -- Kuja's a creepy guy!

Layout 3: After literally YEARS, I made a new layout! It is crazy and blue and red... and well, I kind of like it! I used one of my absolute favorite images of Kuja, and I am happy with how readable the site is now.

Layout 4: Yes, so after I adopted this site from Alex, I stared at it for a while. I always wanted to make a layout with Kuja, as I love his feathery hair. Didn't finish FFIX and it definantely isn't my favorite game (I should shut up now) but I have to say, Kuja looked the most interesting and tragic of all. Naturally I jumped at this site when I saw it was up for adoption and was floored no one had taken Sycophant in. If it had been a Zidane or Garnet shrine I wouldn't have been as enthused. Long story short here is my layout. Not what I wanted, as I procrastinate a lot and end up forgetting what I was supposed to do. Looking at Kuja and reading the content here, I was reminded of William Blake's poem Oh Rose, thou art sick!.
Oh Rose, thou art sick!
The invisible worm That flies in the night,
in the howling storm
Has found out thy bed
Of crimson joy.
And with his dark secret love,
does thy life destroy.
