Kuja is the primary villain in FFIX, even though he doesn't show up until the very end of disc 1. At first his intentions are unknown: all that Zidane and the crew know is that he is providing the Queen of Alexandria with dangerous weapons -- black mages. However, as the truth begins to unfold, the nature of his mission is revealed to be something far worse...
