Comparison

Although no one can ever be Kuja, there are many characters in the gaming/anime world with striking similarities (both physical and mental). Here are just a few that I've noticed:

Faris: FFV
Although Faris is a heroine and Kuja is an antagonist, the two have some common traits. For one, that purple hair (ingame Faris has purple hair). Afterall, if Kuja was in an old-school Final Fantasy, he'd look just like Faris! Also, they both have gender issues. Faris disguises herself as a man, and Kuja dresses like a girl. Not only that, but they both have dragons! Okay, so Faris doesn't have a dragon, but it's a sea serpent...

Naga: The Slayers
Even though I haven't actually seen too much of Naga, I couldn't help but notice how similar her outfit (or lack thereof) is to Kuja's. Plus, they both seem to have a purple fetish. From what I've seen/heard, Naga is a bit of a narcissist herself and has no issues with bragging about her good qualities.

Albedo: Xenosaga
While the two look nothing alike, their personalities are quite siimilar. They are both psychos. Not normal psychos (if there is such a thing), but the craziest of them all. They're both pretty flamboyant with the way they talk, and they're both prone to crazy fits of laughter. They also love toying with "toys" (mages/realians) and torturing people in the process.

Emperor Palamecia: FFII
Unfortunately I haven't played FFII yet (it's on my to-do list), but Emperor Palamecia and Kuja look like carbon copies of each other. They're both quite feminine (to the point where you have to look a few times to make sure they're male), and they have the purplish hair going on. Plus, he's a villain -- doesn't that count for something?

Seymour: FFX
You know, this comparison pains me (I hate Seymour), but I can't deny that there are some qualities that the two share. They're both a bit on the fruity side, and they make other people look like the bad guys before they become the main villain. And they're amazing sorcerers, but then again what villain these days isn't a sorcerer? Kuja's infinitely better, though!
