i know i’ve neglected everything. See there is this silly thing called ‘real life’ and I have been unemployed for quite a few months now. I’ve put in a ridiculous number of applications…. now it’s just the horrible waiting game. My days are filled following leads and studying. I’m pretty sure I’ll go batshit crazy sooner than later.

On a brighter note, I now have a boyfriend to occupy my weekends. Lots of (outside) drama with that but in the words of Karen-O and the Kids L-O-V-E it’s a mystery, all is love, is love, is love. I feel like once I get this career part taken care of, I’ll have my life tied together tighter than a new pair of laces on Converses. I’m about ready to settle down. I am nearly 30 now and have been out of the dating game since 05.

Secondly, new host. The fucking Cube Host sold out to some place called LogicIdea which fucking sucks. May have noticed some downtime. Think that place is in India or outsourced there because of the strange English the tech support was using. *sigh*

My main goal: revamp the Zack shrine. make it more ‘Zack specific’ as opposed to the ‘Crisis Core in general’ feel it has now.

hiatus

Unfortunately my laptop issue is motherboard related so… like it or not, I’ll have to go on hiatus. It doesn’t mean the sites will be dead, it’s just little I can do with them, with all my software, textures, brushes on my laptop currently inaccessible. The computer I’m using doesn’t even have ftp installed, so I’ve been using file manager on cPanel thus far.

Damn it all, I was intending to get my Kartia shrine done, but I could not find one image of Mona~~~
So I was like, okay moving on to Azure Dreams… Not much there plus I can no clue what to do with what I could find… I posted at fforums a request for the Azure Dreams OST. Which is impossible to find anywhere.
I tried amazone (.com and .jp) and well as ebay for copies. nothing. so I’m hoping someone has a PSX rip…

Soooo I ended up changing the layout of Continuum.

But i did like Ledah, and made a fansite for him while watching all the delightful horror movies on SyFy.

A lot of sites have been down. My custom nameservers have stopped working. My host is pretty much crap. I’ve found a new host, and as soon as I can get my domain pushed to me, I’ll be finished with ParadeHosting forever. Don’t bother trying to visit their site as it have been blacklisted due to malware…

The whole experience has been a nightmare, darkened by a rude condescending host and asshole forum mods (not all of them but the majority).

For now I just have to suffer a bit longer. I changed all my nameservers to PH and now some sites are going back up. The directory is still down for the count.

I see when I made a forum post about getting 500 Errors everyone read but no one replied. Now so many people are getting 500 errors the mods have to close duplicate threads. I feel like some of the clients are airheads. If we all stood together on issues maybe the owner would actually fix them in a timely manner. But people are just now realizing their site has malicious script, their FTP won’t upload files, they have 500 errors, or their NS aren’t working. It’s been like that for DAYS and you’re just noticing?? Things I’ve been saying all along but my threads are just closed of no reply and pushed back until I get annoyed and delete them. What’s worse are a lot of these people are Master resellers or resellers which means they probably have paying clients. People like that with their phony hosting was what was making finding a REAL host hard. I don’t want to deal with anyone who cannot access the server physically when they need to.

The host I am looking into is CubeHosting. I was looking at HoldFire but they have way too many negative reviews for my taste. I didn’t find many reviews about Cube but the ones I did find were positive. Their Budget plan is 1.5GB space and 15GB transfers for 2/mnth. I’ll probably upgrade to the larger plan 5GB 3.95/mnth plan later, but I have so many domain renewals coming up that I want to pocket my cash for now.

I also want to give shout outs to the WebHostingTalk Forums. If you ever need a host check there. You can get special deals and reviews on the host as well from other forum members.

has been updated. I changed the layout, added new sections, cleaned up sections. Most important add was the gallery. I had some screens taken from the Advent Children complete sitting in My Pictures for a while, so I went ahead and thumbnailed them (my program expired Dx so i had to do them individually).

I can’t say I’m happy with the layout. Nothing was coming to me at all. I’m making another one when I can and just use SiteSkin (always wanted to try it out anyways) or something. I was also supposed to convert the site completely to PHP but I was far far farr to lazy (plus the file count was adding up too quickly). ‘echo’ this ‘echo’ that. blah.

Yes, it was cold (i dunno it was probably 69-72-ish; below 75 and i have a jacket on), overcast, and rainy. Plus I’ve been in bed all weekend with my dearest friend Mr. Heat Pad. So I just pulled the laptop over and connect the psp to the laptop and got to work

AkiNoIro has finally gotten a face lift. Not exactly what I envisioned. But that’ll do pig, that’ll do (urm did i just call myself a pig? lol)

Indwell home of my future Vagrant Story collective.

Indwell is currently only housing Peripatetic, the VS fanlisting.

Added more songs to the player at HeliWood. Also made it so the visitor can close the player frame or open it in a popup. Added some links.

There, I think I should be all caught up with updates.
